ATA Statement on State of the Union Address

Praises Administration’s successes on economy, tax reform, trade

American Trucking Associations President and CEO Chris Spear made this statement tonight following President Trump’s State of the Union Address:

“As President Trump has said before—when our trucks are moving, the economy is growing. Thanks to his leadership, this administration is restoring America’s economic engine by putting its working men and women first. From passing historic tax reform to ratifying USMCA, President Trump has relentlessly pursued policies that support the millions of Americans who work in trucking so that they can keep our economy running. We’re proud to have helped move this agenda forward, and we look forward to more accomplishments together in the future.”
